G48 black is Chambered in 9mm Luger is features a compact Slimline frame and a black slide with an nDLC finish. The 10-round magazine capacity makes it ideal for concealed carry.

The frame features elements of the Gen5 and Slimline series such the short trigger distance, a frame with a built-in beavertail, a reversible magazine catch and the incredibly accurate, match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) and precision-milled front serrations.
Featuring a smooth, Gen5-styled frame with no finger grooves and reduced width, the Glock 48 is purpose-built for concealment and comfort. The increased frame height also allows the use of a 10 round magazine. Please note that these magazines will only fit the 48 and 43X, due to the unique frame sizing.
The 48 also includes improved slide features such as front serrations, and the Marksman Barrel introduced with the Gen5 line.

I love my Glock 19 and M&P9 Compact, but the extra thickness is noticeable when carrying IWB. The Glock 48 gives me 15 rounds in the magazine with the Shield Arms magazines with the slim profile of a single stack. Plus, as a bonus, you get the same sight radius as the 19. So the capacity and shootability (is that a word?) of the 19 and the comfort of a sub-compact. Maybe the perfect compromise.
