Best overall piece available. Without super modifications or need to add any useless components to make it feel better or shoot better. Out the box it is a superb weapon. The caliber of this weapon is ideal for home, range, hunting, backpacking, IWB carry or external. You wont be disappointed.

Like I said its a Glock, If you like them you know what I mean. I seems that there are two groups of folks, a love hate relationship. I love this model it is compact, accurate, and dependable. I had a ton of reloads left over from my competitive days, and this little 23 loves it and we are having a ball.

it aint pretty, but its light weight, super tough, super reliable, very accurate with the optional adjustable rear sight. what more do you need in a handgun.

I have my Glock 23 for about 2 years now and put through about 500rds. I love the 23 in the .40s&w because it is the right size gun to carry and still packs a punch. What I would change right away is the slide spring, one issue with it is that over time the plastic guide for the spring wears out, this is with the 3rd gen, the gen 4 fixed this. They do make a steel or carbide guide that is easily intalled and will add more life to the gun, But overal fun to shoot and not a lot of rcoil for the .40 cal bullet. I have fired a lot of other .40’s and the glock is by far the nicest.
