Thanks, Ben. I love my M&P AR, so it wouldn’t surprise me that the M&P pistol is a great gun. I’ll for sure watch for your review. Just keep on keeping it real!

Ben, I really enjoy your reviews because you always set up very clear criteria and follow them, unlike so many other reviewers who essentially give a vague read out of their impressions of the gun. I like Glocks, They work. I have two Gen 3s and was thinking about picking up a newer model, not for any specific reason other than it’s newer with some new refinements. The new Gen 5 sounds like a great gun, and your review is a good set of facts to add to my decision process. Thanks.

Hi Mikial, Thanks for your nice comments. Yes, a personal decision process, given the several considerations and upgrades. I know I like my Gen 3 G19 and debating with myself now. I did buy the G17 Gen 5. Continued success and thanks again.
P.S. Not to further complicate your decision, but I just finished my review of the M&P M2.0 9 Compact (will be published here soon)– it is very, very much like the G19 and with a greatly improved trigger and grip. I love it and maybe you should consider it also. Best!

Sure. Say also next week here will be published my review of the H&K VP9 SK (subcompact) 9mm… a real quality striker-fired SAO gun with about a 4.9# trigger press and luminescent sights. I gave it a highly recommend. Check it out. Later!
